Metrolinx and Hydro One (co-proponents) recently concluded a virtual public update to the GO Rail Network Electrification Addendum. The website had 406 visitors and was the last round of public consultation for the addendum. As part of the process and in accordance with Ontario Regulation 231/08 (Transit Projects and Metrolinx Undertakings), today they have reached the file date for the Notice of Environmental Project Report (EPR) Addendum for the GO Rail Network Electrification Project. The Government of Ontario announced the shutdown, stay at home orders and all existing public health and workplace safety measures be maintained for an additional two weeks in Peel. The shutdown measures and the Stay-at-Home order will continue to apply until at least Monday, March 8, 2021, based on key public health indicators and following consultation with the local medical officers of health. The City of Mississauga is recognizing Invasive Species Awareness Week from February 21 to 27, 2021. The week encourages residents to care for their local environments by learning more about invasive species in their community. Throughout the week, the City will also share information about its Invasive Species Management Plan and Implementation Strategy (ISMP&IS). Read More
