Below is a summary of the upcoming works in your Ward on Dixie Road starting in May, with an anticipated completion of Summer 2022. The construction will take place on Dixie Road at the Canadian National Railway (CNR) structure, located north of Lakeshore Road East in the City of Mississauga.
Road works are also included on Dixie Road from Orchard Hill Road to 350 m northerly. The scope of work includes:
•Removal and replacement of asphalt pavement.
•Remediation of the concrete retaining wall, as well as the south sideembankments.
•Repair and replacement of the elevated concrete sidewalks, handrailings, curbs and gutters.
Esposito Bros. Construction Limited has been contracted to complete the work on the Region’s behalf. Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. Some works may take place on Saturdays, if required. These hours follow the City’s by-laws.
Extended working hours may cause some inconvenience to the public, however, will help facilitate completion of the project as quickly as possible.
