Rowing Lessons Will Occur Under Strict Safe Protocols
Mississauga — May 17th, 2021
The Don Rowing Club of Mississauga has opened the registration for Learn-to-Row Camps for youth between the ages of 13 to 17. The camps will run weekly from July 5th to August 27th on the Credit River in Mississauga.
“Our rowing camps have been a huge success in previous years. We have made modifications to offer them again under current Covid 19 restrictions following strict protocols to make them fun and safe,” said Ian Marshall, President.
The learn-to-row camps for youth offer a positive rowing experience for young people.
Many of our former youth camp participants have continued to the competitive level both within rowing and other sports. Rowing is an excellent total body sport offering both physical and mental health benefits.
“The Don Rowing Club’s youth summer camp is a great way to be introduced to rowing. I can say with certainty that the coaches are dedicated to not only teaching you the basics of rowing while always maintaining a safe and fun environment.” said Elena Sati a former youth camp participant and current junior competitive rower.
The camps will run from July 5th to August 27thst. To register, please visit: www.donrowingclub.ca
