The Netflix series “Locke & Key” (Matheson 2 Productions Inc) will be filming at Lakefront Promenade Park, South Pavilion/Picnic Area B this Friday June 18 from 4:00pm to Saturday June 19 at 2:00am.
The Film Office, with close consultation with the Parks Division, has been working with production to adjust their footprint to be the smallest as possible due to the especially high demand for lakefront parks and amenities during this time.

June 12, 2021 – Today, a team of clinical staff from the Grey Bruce Health Unit attended the Hockey Hub mass vaccination centre at the CAA Centre in Brampton to support in the fight against the Delta variant that is spreading in the region. Through collaboration among Peel Public Health and Grey Bruce Health Unit, the site is on track to set a daily record for an 8-hour shift of 6,300 vaccinations.
Bruce Power and a coalition of organizations, unions and businesses came together to establish the hub in collaboration with the Region of Peel to provide the region greater capacity to deliver more vaccines in the race against the COVID-19 variants. There will be a rolling closure of various roadways in order to complete the installation of sanitary sewer. Below is the list of all the roadways that will be closed consecutively and will include the duration starting from June 21st, 2021.
