THE STUDY
The Region of Peel is commencing the 2051 Transportation Master Plan (2051 TMP) study to identify a transportation solution to accommodate future growth to 2051. The 2051 TMP will integrate strategies to advance the Region’s other key priorities including road safety, goods movement, and sustainable transportation into one plan that will guide investment in transportation infrastructure and programming.

The study area includes all of the Region of Peel.

THE PROCESS
This study is being conducted in accordance with Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process for Master Plans under the Environmental Assessment Act. The 2051 TMP study will satisfy Phase 1 (Identify Problem and Opportunity) and Phase 2 (Identify and Evaluate Alternative Solutions) of the process. The final deliverable will be a document that will guide actions, policies, and transportation investment in the Region of Peel over the next 30 years.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
The Region will hold three rounds of public engagement at key study milestones to seek your opinion, invite discussion on prospective solutions, and present recommendations. The first round of in-person public information centres (PICs) will be held in November 2022 at the dates and locations listed below.
