Peel Region invites the community to get a behind the scenes look at how their tap water is treated and cleaned at the Arthur. P. Kennedy Water Treatment Plant.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (free drop in, last tour at 3:30 p.m.)
Location: 920 East Avenue, Mississauga

The open house showcases how the state-of-the art plant treats and distributes 570 million litres of safe, quality drinking water to Peel homes, schools, and workplaces each day.

The event is being held in recognition of Imagine a Day Without Water an international day that raises awareness about the value of water as an essential resource.
