The Region of Peel will be implementing a temporary road closure in order to perform valve maintenance on the watermain at the intersection of Primate Road and Dixie Road.
Traffic impacts
Temporary road closures and lane reductions will be required from Tuesday, January 25th to Thursday, January 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m each day.
• Primate Road will be fully closed at Dixie Road.
• Dixie Road southbound curb lane will be closed in the vicinity of Primate Road.
• Road closure and lane closures will be reopened every morning at 4:00am.
These impacts may cause traffic delays. We ask for your patience and will try to minimize any delays.
Safety during construction
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe – pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible.
