Nightworks at The Queensway and Hurontario Street – Monday July 10 to Monday July 31, 2023 – 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily

What work is taking place?
Crews will be installing Alectra duct banks at the intersection of Hurontario Street and The Queensway during the nights from Monday July 10 to Monday July 31, 2023. The work hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on each night including weekends.

Some temporary lane closures will be required during this work. The impacted lanes will be re-opened with steel plates during the duration of this work. There will also be temporary turn restrictions in place. Please follow detour signs. This work is being done overnight so crews will be able to complete this work safely and efficiently while minimizing impacts.

MiWay routes 4 and 103 will be detoured at times during this work and stops on Hurontario Street between Paisley Boulevard and The Queensway will not be serviced. Please visit www.miway.ca/updates for information on your bus route.

In accordance with City of Mississauga Noise By-Law Exemption requirements, this notice is meant to advise that residents near the work site can expect to hear noise and vibration caused by trucks, excavators, backhoes, and other construction equipment related to this work. TIMING
• Nightly works are scheduled at the intersection of Hurontario Street and The Queensway from July 10 to July 31, 2023
• Works are scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily.
• Work could be rescheduled and delayed due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS
• Temporary lane closures and left turn restrictions will be required at this intersection.
• Emergency access will be maintained.
• Watch for slow moving vehicles entering and exiting work areas.
• Remember to reduce your speed when approaching work zones.
