Overnight Watermain Works on Hurontario at Inglewood
WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Construction crews will be installing watermain infrastructure along Hurontario Street, just north of Inglewood Drive, that will also need to cross the north driveway entrance to Cousins Market. This will result in a temporary closure of the north driveway entrance. In order to complete this work safely, and to minimize the impacts to the local businesses, works are scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on October 13 and 14, 2022. The driveway entrance will be re-opened each day at 7 a.m. using steel plates, and sidewalk access will be maintained throughout the closure.
In accordance with City of Mississauga Noise By-Law Exemption requirements, this notice is meant to advise that residents near the work site can expect to hear noise and vibration caused by trucks, excavators, backhoes, and other construction equipment related to this work.
During this closure, motorists can access the plaza using the south driveway entrance from Hurontario Street. Please note, work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If you require the most up-to-date information, please reach out to peel@metrolinx.com.
