Memme occupied the most southern lane on Lakeshore Road on October 23rd to complete the grinding operation. All traffic was directed on Lakeshore Road with the assistance of two paid duty officers. On October 24th it was determined that some areas required additional grinding as well as the raising of manholes to attain the appropriate grades in preparation for the re-paving.
Wednesday October 25th, the most southern lane will again be closed for the day to pave top asphalt, and all traffic will be directed again with two paid duty officers. This work will run from Benson through to Mississauga Rd. Following that work, tomorrow evening all line painting will be completed and Lakeshore will be fully reopened on Thursday October 26th.
