Summer temperatures are fast approaching and so is the opening of the City of Mississauga’s outdoor pools and spray pads. Pull out those beach towels, find those flip-flops and get ready for a splashing good time in Mississauga this summer.

Spray Pads

Already feeling the heat? As of May 17, all of the City’s 27 spray pads are open to the community for the summer season, with the exception of the spray pad at Mississauga Valley Park. A section of the spray pad at Mississauga Valleys is under construction and not operational at this time. Residents are free to enjoy the spray pads through to September, weather permitting, but are reminded that the spray pads are unsupervised. City spray pads are a fun, free way to keep cool and open daily at 9 a.m. Residents can use the eParks map  to check out the spray pads in their neighbourhood.

Enjoy the interactive water feature at Mississauga Celebration Square. Until Labour Day weekend, the water feature can be enjoyed by residents from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., same as previous years.

Pools

Residents can also look forward to staying cool by the pool this summer. The City has seven outdoor pools and 11 indoor pools, all of which are supervised by trained City employees. The indoor pools operate year-round and soon the outdoor pools will be open for their regular season.
