Dear Resident,
NPL Canada Ltd, an Enbridge contractor, will be undertaking the replacement of the existing natural gas main infrastructure along the North Service Rd, (from Stanfield Rd to Harvest Dr) across the Queen Elizabeth Way (Harvest Dr to South Service Rd), along Dixie Rd (from Rometown Dr to South Service Rd), and along South Service Rd (from Park Royal Blvd to Dixie Rd).
The work is scheduled to commence on Tuesday March 2, 2021 and will take approx. 12 weeks to complete. Part of this work will involve tunneling under the QEW from Harvest Dr and out to South Service Rd at Dixie Outlet Mall.
We will be setting up on the south side of the QEW inside the parking lot of Dixie Outlet Mall which will require lane restrictions along North Service Rd and Harvest Dr at various times for the duration of the work. (Approx. 4 weeks). There will be sidewalk access at all times and there will be vehicle access to and from Harvest Dr. At the same time there will be temporary road closure on the south side at the South Service Rd (anticipated to be during working hours only) All work related details have been discussed and approved by City of Mississauga Commissioner of Transportation and Works Department, City of Mississauga Traffic Operations Manager (MiWay) as well as the Ministry of Transportation.
Expected working hours are scheduled to take place between 7:00am and 5:00pm, along with approximately 2 days which will take place between 7:00pm and 5am (Night work). Please note that our work schedule is subject to change.
