PEP Talks is a FREE ongoing peer-support space for parents of teens living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation for residents of the Halton-Peel region. They offer a forum for parents to share their experiences and grow their support network by focusing on a unique aspect of T1D management every month. June’s discussion will focus on the collaborative nature of T1D management in the family setting, with an emphasis on asking for help and cultivating family and self-care practices.
