New Disc Golf Courses at Dellwood Park and Spruce Park

By Resources, Ward 1

I am very excited to announce that disc golf is coming to Ward 1. It is a first for Mississauga. I have been working hard with staff on my initiative for several months and it will finally be a reality with its installation in the very near future.

New disc golf courses are being installed at Dellwood Park and Spruce Park in our Ward. The courses are designed for beginners and can be played physically distanced. The courses are open for anyone interested in trying out a game.

Disc golf is a sport where players throw a disc from a tee off area into a metal basket mounted in the ground. The object of the game is to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws. It has similar rules to golf.

Construction on the disc golf courses will begin this summer.

Please check out Mississauga.ca/disc-golf-2021 for all the exciting details on the disc golf courses.
