The province is opening up the eligibility for booster shots starting on December 13. If you have received your COVID-19 vaccine series (two doses) more than six months ago, and you are over the age of 50, you can book your third-dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Those who are able to book an appointment can do so through the COVID-19 vaccination portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900, or in select pharmacies and primary care settings.

In addition, due to a higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19, effective immediately individuals receiving dialysis are eligible to receive a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if it has been 56 days since their second dose. There are also new recommendations for those who have received transplants. It’s recommended that those who may qualify for these accelerated doses speak to their primary care providers.
The province expects to further increase booster shot eligibility for those under the age of 50 starting in January.
