One step for each person living with dementia in Peel Region

This year we are asking participants to consider walking 20,389 steps during the month of May.  One step for each person living with dementia in Peel Region.  Throughout the Month of May, we will be encouraging our participants to share on social media why they are walking by using @alzpeel and on Sunday May 30th, we will share our participant’s stories to help create a community of support for those living with dementia. City of Mississauga Dims Clock Tower in Honour of Lives Lost to COVID-19

Today, March 11, The City of Mississauga is recognizing the National Day of Observance to mark the one year anniversary of the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring a global pandemic due to the rising cases of COVID-19 across the world. Today, at Mississauga Civic Centre, the flags have been lowered to half-mast and the clock tower lights have been dimmed to mark the National Day of Observance for COVID-19.
