Calling all Green Thumbs! Help Mississauga Bloom by Donating Seeds to the Seed Library

Spring is approaching and with it, the return of Mississauga Library’s seventh annual Seed Library program. As part of this program, Mississauga residents can donate seeds, grow their gardening skills in online workshops and order seeds free of charge to plant. Thanks to seed donations from the community, seed packages were distributed to over 550 residents across the city in 2020, helping them experience the joy of growing their own plants, fruit, vegetables and herbs. News Release – Alectra Utilities Wind Warning – March 1 2021

The Government of Canada has issued a special weather statement in advance of the severe winds expected in Peel Region this afternoon and evening. Alectra is preparing to move crews from other regions in our service territory as well as calling in additional crews and licensed contractors in preparation for the outages that may occur.
