On August 2, 2021, MiWay is adjusting schedules on various routes to ensure that service is available where and when customers need it, as travel patterns continue to change based on the COVID-19 recovery framework. A public multi-use trail is planned from Atwater Avenue to South Service Road within the Hydro Corridor. This multi-use trail is identified as part of the City of Mississauga’s 2018 City of Mississauga Cycling Master Plan.
Pending approval from Hydro One Networks Inc., who are owners of the Hydro Corridor, construction of the trail is targeted to begin in fall 2021. The trail alignment will be along the eastern boundary of the hydro corridor, set back from the existing towers and transformer station which are to remain.
This virtual public information session will provide an opportunity to view the alignment of the trail.
