Building on the recently completed Lakeshore Connecting Communities Master Plan, the City of Mississauga is moving forward with environmental assessments for the Lakeshore Corridor.

Beginning September 7, Mississauga Council and Standing Committee meetings will include virtual and in-person participation options until further notice. Advisory Committee and Quasi-Judicial meetings (such as the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee and Committee of Adjustment) will continue to meet virtually only. Read More

Starting September 7, the Port Credit Memorial Arena Pop Up Library will expand its current holds pick-up service to include a small popular collection for adults and children, computer access, photocopying and printing services. It will also offer limited study and seating space. Read More
We want to hear from you! The City of Mississauga is moving forward with the Lakeshore Transportation Studies, a set of three infrastructure projects which build from the 2019 Lakeshore Connecting Communities Transportation Master Plan. Read More
The City of Mississauga is moving forward with two transportation projects that will create stronger connections and support reliable transit throughout Mississauga. Environmental assessments are currently underway for the Lakeshore Transportation Studies (a set of interconnected infrastructure projects along Lakeshore Road) and the Dundas Bus Rapid Transit Project.
From Thursday, September 2 to Thursday, September 23, residents and stakeholders are invited to learn more about each project and provide feedback. There are two ways to participate: attend a live virtual community meeting or visit each project’s on-demand virtual open house. Read More

Roads will be busy with students walking, riding their bikes, taking a bus or being driven to school, and it’s important that all road users remain alert when using roadways to prevent collisions.
