The City of Mississauga’s spring intake of grant applications is now open. Interested applicants can apply for the Small Projects Matching Grant, which opened on Wednesday, March 15 and the Live Music Grant, which opens on Monday, April 3.
Small Projects Matching Grant Program
This not-for-profit grant supports eligible projects that will strengthen neighbourhoods, increase resident engagement and enhance opportunities for Mississauga residents to participate in events and activities at the neighbourhood level.
Virtual sessions:
- Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 6 to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from noon to 1 p.m.
Live Music Grant Program
This for-profit grant provides funding to offset the eligible expenses associated with the presentation of safe and inclusive live music events to Mississauga residents and visitors. The program stems from the City’s Music Strategy and is designed to help increase the number and frequency of live music events in Mississauga.
Virtual sessions:
- Monday, April 17, 2023, from noon to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Those interested in applying must attend a virtual information session in advance unless they have been previously awarded funding from the City within the last two years.
Application process
All grant applications must be submitted online at mississauga.ca/grants. The deadline for the Small Projects Matching Grant is Friday, April 14, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. and the deadline for the Live Music Grant, is Monday, May 1, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
