A Message from Metrolinx – Overnight Work on the Metrolinx Railway Crossing

Metrolinx will be completing Transport Canada Grade Crossing upgrades in your community. These upgrades are critical to maintaining the safety of our network and include crossing enhancements, to allow fast, quiet, electrified, two-way, all-day service that will come with GO Expansion, Metrolinx will build new track, signals, rail facilities and electrification infrastructure, modify and build bridges, and improve crossings across the core segments of the GO rail network.

The work is scheduled for the following railway crossings:

  • Monday, July 11 & Tuesday, July 12 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., both nights) – Clarkson Road North
  • Wednesday, July 13 & Thursday, July 14 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., both nights – Haig Boulevard
  • Wednesday, July 20 & Thursday, July 21 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., both nights – Lorne Park Road
  • Monday, July 25 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., one night – Ogden Avenue
  • Tuesday, July 26 , Wednesday, July 27 & Thursday, July 28 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., three nights – Alexandra Avenue

Below are community notices that have been hand delivered to residents on Clarkson and Haig, notices will also be delivered in the mail in all five neighborhoods.
